So I started mediating 2 months ago.
For someone who has never meditated the benefits are marked.
I started at 10 mins a day and now up to 15mins a day. 15mins is a big step up and the mind does flip-out at the 12-13 mins mark.
Sitting in the toilet cubicle with headphones on whilst meditating is an interesting experience!
What is it doing for me
- Providing greater focus and lifting the “haze”
- Increases productivity whist under pressure. When already time poor taking 15mins out was crazy. Its now a critical investment.
- Increased awareness of the situation around me. Allows better reading of body language and human signals
- Greater appreciation of the ones closer to me
